Rant entry for 7/18/2002 --- I was discriminated too by actoronto, but not PWA

i went to there group in the gay district. they let me in a group suport sesion, one guy grabed me ass, now if I did this to a woman, I would be arested! i complained to the group director and was told to never come back. I tried to get the name of the member who sexualy asaulted me to make an arest as I could see they were not going to stop it from further hapening to other people, but I was denied the information and they threatened to cal the police on me saying i was a trouble maker and disturbing the peace. i wil never go back to this organisation again, they should not be alowed to handle money to help Hiv and aids people. i was not alowed to the fashion cares show either, i was told they needed the gay comunity for promoting and participation with it, it is aparently a gay media event. i am no longer a member, i made them remove me this winter once i could not be a part of fashion show in the spring. thankfuly i have very good luch with toronto people with aids foundation, they are great, sory to hear your bad luck, but i can relate BACK
